MF Sunnylvsfjord and MF Norddalsfjord delivered to Fjord1

The passenger vessels - built at Tersan Shipyard - are designed for battery-electric operations.

In mid-March, Sunnylvsfjord arrived in Norway from Tersan Shipyard in Turkey. Norddalsfjord is currently en route to Norway.

The passenger vessels are newbuilds equipped with the e-SEAMatic® BLUE package - designed for battery operation with fast charging from shore. The ferries are also equipped with a diesel-electric backup system, and can operate in full electric mode, hybrid mode, and diesel-electric mode.

e-SEA Drives

e-SEA Transformers

ESS (2232 kWh battery system)

Zinus DC charging system

The passenger vessels are designed by HAV Design and have a capacity of 248 people, including crew, in addition to 90 passenger cars.

Both vessels sailed from Tersan Shipyard in Turkey earlier this year.
