These talented individuals are set to earn their trade certificates in automation and electrical fields - we are thrilled to welcome them to the SEAM-Team.

With our newest members, we now have a total of 26 apprentices learning with us.

"Being an apprenticeship company is a huge part of who we are," says Carina Ringen, CHRO at SEAM. "We see our apprentices as an investment in the future. Their fresh perspectives help us grow and learn as a company, both professionally and as a team."

Many of our new apprentices come from local schools like Karmsund and Åkra Upper Secondary, which strengthens our ties to the community we're proud to call home.

Building Expertise is Key

Our apprentices are vital to our journey toward a green maritime future. Building expertise in electrical, automation, and maritime fields is essential for SEAM and for Norway to stay competitive on a global scale.

During their apprenticeship, our new team members will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects. They'll rotate through different departments and work closely with our seasoned engineers and technicians. Our goal is to help them become skilled professionals who will lead the future of green shipping.

We can't wait to follow their journey and hope they'll see a future building green maritime technology right here with us.

Meet our new apprentices:

  • Automation: Jonas Gaupås, William Alexander Høie-Mikalsen, Mathias Hjelmevoll, Elias Sirnes, Louise Nornes, Samuel Fagerland, Steinar Bauge.
  • Electrical: Torvald Kråkenes Tverborgvik.
